We all know what grandmothers are like, they always care too much and leave nothing to chance. So it is with Bakin’ Mix.

Although fully developed in Croatia, its production takes place in the Italian province of Treviso, in a factory called Rue Flambée, a factory exclusively specialized in the production of gluten-free products.
The factory is authorized to operate with the approval of the Public Health Institute of the Province of Treviso, which continuously monitors its operation.
Not only the factory produces and packs mixtures and powder products for gluten-free confectionery and bakery products, but also has a Health Certificate for the export of gluten-free products.

Grandma says you can never be too careful, so all products are packaged in multi-layer airtight packaging that guarantees that the product will not be contaminated at any point in the supply chain, from the time it just went out of production to the moment it gets to your kitchen.
The current European legal framework stipulates that a product must have less than 20 mg / kg of gluten in the finished product in order to be declared as “gluten-free product”, but an analysis of Bakin’s mix at the Croatian Institute of Public Health shows a gluten content of less than 3 mg / kg.

Grandma always wants to be as safe as possible, so in addition to the strict controls that are done in Italy during the production, another control is carried out in the Croatian Institute of Public Health. There, each batch of products is checked so that grandma’s products are completely safe to consume for those who are absolutely not allowed to ingest gluten or for those who simply avoid it.

Grandma is currently working with the Croatian Celiac Disease Association to obtain a Crossed Grain Symbol that is internationally licensed. By getting the so-called CGS symbol, Bakin’ mix products will be more globally recognizable as gluten-free products!
